GOC coordinates harmonization of 3D networks

As a partner in the 6G Platform the GOC initiates, coordinates, and supports the harmonization, consolidation, and regulation of technological approaches to 3D communication networks. Such networks consist of drones, aircraft, and satellites, and thus of network components that are of great economic importance for the Bremen region as a “City of Space.” The “3D Networks” working group led by the GOC includes not only the scientific partners of the BMBF-funded research hub, but also key players from industry, with the aim of jointly exploiting innovations through harmonized technology approaches in standardization, thereby enabling participating companies to position themselves as future market leaders.
